The Short Version

PowerUp is a free to-do list app made by Chilton Webb for friends and anyone else who finds it useful. It costs nothing, it will always cost nothing, and there are no plans to change that.

Your Stuff Is Your Stuff

I have zero interest in reading your to-do lists. I do not look at your data, I do not analyze it, I do not sell it, and I do not share it with anyone. Your tasks, projects, and anything else you put in here are yours. I have better things to do than snoop through your grocery lists and home renovation plans.

The One Rule

Please do not store anything in PowerUp that could get either of us in trouble. This is a to-do list running on a server that I pay for. If you use it to plan, organize, or document anything illegal, harmful, or otherwise sketchy, that is entirely on you -- but I would really prefer you just didn't. Use it for normal stuff. Groceries, work projects, books to read, world domination plans that are clearly jokes. You know the line.

No Warranties, No Guarantees

This app is provided as-is. I built it because I wanted a to-do list that worked the way I wanted, and then I shared it because why not. I do my best to keep it running, but I make no promises about uptime, data durability, or anything else. Back up anything important. Do not rely on this as your only copy of anything critical.

Your Account

Your email address is only used to identify your account. I will never send you email. Not a welcome message, not a newsletter, not a "we miss you" guilt trip. Nothing. Your email is just a username that happens to have an @ in it.

There is no automated password recovery. If you forget your password, I may or may not be able to help you, depending on how busy I am and whether I remember how. Pick something you will not forget.

I Can Pull the Plug

I reserve the right to remove any account or shut down the service at any time for any reason. I do not anticipate doing either of those things, but this is a free app run by one person, so I am not going to pretend otherwise.

Changes

I might update these terms someday. If I do, the new version will be here. I will not send you an email about it because, as established, I do not send email.

That's It

If you have questions, you probably already know how to reach me. If you don't know how to reach me, you probably don't need to.
